"A Must Read! It May Save Your Life!

Ms. Andrews gets you hooked right away with a violent act that you will discover the source of as you read, and then captures your heart with a beautiful love story.

The first clue from the title, that the love story will encounter problems, is that the setting is on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, a location that albeit beautiful, it is part of the eastern flyway of bird migration north making it a location for increased tick populations and thus tick borne illnesses. The second clue is that the tick bites occur and then the myriad of unrelated symptoms in the characters that you will discover the source of as you read.

Ms. Andrews entertains you with a beautiful ( and sometimes steamy but still ok for YA!) love story and educates you about tick borne disease and the constant battle patients must encounter. From resistance to diagnose and obtain appropriate treatment, to the medical community that is generally ignorant of these debilitating and potentially deadly diseases, the characters lives change.

Ms. Andrews takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions throughout the book but you come away with so much knowledge!

Remember this book if you or anyone you know are ever symptomatic! Ms Andrews lists knowledgeable doctors and other resources in her acknowledgments. As global warming progresses so will the incidence of tick borne diseases!"
